Tulsa State Fair

Tonight we went to the Tulsa State Fair! Randy's been wanting to go all week. After class today, he would not let me take a nap at home, because he knew I would be down for the night. So, he drove me to a couple errands I needed to run, then we went to the fair in the Corvette with the top down! The weather was so nice today, until it got a little chilly tonight.

Goodness, we ate so much fair food I can't even remember what all we ate. First was pink cotton candy and a bottle of water to start off. Then we wondered down the Midway for fried cheese, a corn on the cob, a brisket/mashed potato/barbeque sauce parfait, and finally a funnel cake. Oh my goodness, I'm still full.

We figured out that we have not been to the fair in 3 years, since the first year we moved here, and I was still working for Randy.

We went to the rodeo that is going on this weekend. Last weekend was Disney on Ice. The clowns are always my favorite! Randy had a great date night idea, and I know he'll have many more to come!

Wedding of Sarah and Matt - Biloxi, MS

This weekend we celebrated the amazing wedding of my college friend Sarah Morrison and Matt Metz!!  She was the most beautiful bride I've ever seen!!  She brought tears to my eyes as the doors of the cathedral were opened!!  Her dress and hair were creative yet classic.

Attending weddings is an experience that exudes such joy and LOVE!!  Matt and Sarah dated many years before deciding to Love each other forever and ever.  It is indeed a big decision, and I am confident that they will keep each vow they spoke at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral!

They are both such hard workers, and the priest gave them more "laws" to abide by throughout marriage.  I really hope someone recorded those laws; he held nothing back.  He gave them Rules to Love By, that seem so simple but in practice are more difficult to follow when stress and no time creep up on them.

Sarah is such a wonderful friend and was my "go-to" woman on the day of my big event.  She shows love in all that she does, so I have faith that she will always show Matt Love in every way she can!

Sarah's mother chose the best place on the Coast for the Reception, The Biloxi Visitors' Center!  During Cruising the Coast, it was the perfect place to see the parade of cars on Highway 90 without being in the traffic!  The new Center is gorgeous!  The lighthouse is a great touch to the view also!!

We will always remember the time we had with the bride and groom at their beautiful wedding!!

Have you been to a sweet wedding lately?  What was your favourite part?
